Seller information

KritKrats is an online store operated by Milica Botha trading as KritKrats, a sole proprietor in South Africa. “KritKrats”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to this business.

Orders and correcting mistakes

Before placing an order, you can review the products, quantities, delivery details, delivery method and total price, correct mistakes or leave checkout without ordering. After you place an order, we will send an electronic acknowledgement containing a record of the transaction. An order is accepted when we confirm the order and successful payment. Please contact us promptly if the acknowledgement contains an error.

We may reject, cancel or refund an order where stock is unavailable or there is a genuine pricing, payment, security or technical error. We will notify you and refund any amount already paid for a cancelled order.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in South African rand. The total price, including applicable taxes, delivery charges and other fees, is displayed before you place the order. Payment is processed securely by Payfast using the payment options displayed at checkout. KritKrats does not store your full payment-card details.

Delivery

We deliver within South Africa using The Courier Guy. The available method, price and estimated timing are shown at checkout and explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Dispatch takes place after payment is confirmed and the order and delivery information have been checked. You must provide accurate contact and delivery details.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, you may cancel an online purchase of goods without reason within seven days after receiving the goods. The direct return cost may be charged to you, and any payment already made will be refunded within 30 days after cancellation. Legal exclusions may apply to certain goods or transactions.

KritKrats also offers an additional 14-day change-of-mind return policy for unopened, unused pouches in their original packaging. Separate and stronger statutory rights apply to unsafe, defective or poor-quality goods, including the six-month implied warranty under the Consumer Protection Act. Product information

We aim to present products, colours and descriptions accurately. Colours may appear differently on different screens. Please follow the packaging instructions and provide appropriate supervision for children using the kits.

Website use and intellectual property

The KritKrats website, branding, copy, images and creative materials are owned by or licensed to KritKrats. You may use the site for personal shopping only. Do not misuse the site, interfere with its security or copy or use its content commercially without written permission.

Complaints

Please first contact us through our Contact page, at info@kritkrats.co.za. Include your order number and a clear description of the problem. We will try to resolve the complaint within a reasonable time. If it remains unresolved, you may use the National Consumer Commission complaints process or another remedy available by law.

Liability and governing law

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right, remedy, warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, KritKrats is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. These Terms and transactions with KritKrats are governed by the laws of South Africa.
