Before You Ask
Can complete beginners actually do this?
Ja, 100%. The video doesn’t skip ahead or assume you’ve been sculpting since birth. You roll a ball, you flatten a bit, you stick it on. If you can make a snake out of dough, you’ve got all the credentials you need.
What kind of photos should I upload?
Any photos from your phone! Selfies, couple shots, pets, holiday pics. We scale and crop them to fit the cute mini Polaroid format before printing. Just make sure faces aren’t right on the extreme edges.
Do I need to buy extra tools or glue?
Nope. Everything you need is in the yellow box: all the clay tubs in the exact colours needed, the shaping tools, your two printed photos, and the QR tutorial card. You just bring a flat table and a glass of wine or tea.
Is it messy? Will it ruin my dining table?
Not at all. Foam clay is not like traditional wet pottery clay or sticky dough. It doesn’t leave greasy residue, doesn’t crumble onto the rug, and doesn’t stain hands. When you’re done, the table looks like nothing happened.
How does it dry?
Just leave your finished characters out on a counter or shelf. They air-dry completely in about 24 hours. No baking, no oven timers, no microwave experiments.
